Instantly rejected with a CK Score of 689. I'll get my letter in a few days to find out why. I'd assume it either has something to do with the card I already have with them (although, I haven't missed a payment and it's in good standing), or that I don't have a job (although, I am a full time undergraduate student). Would they consider the other card? It has a $39 annual fee...I'm assuming they wouldn't want to lose that. I thought student cards were generally a bit easier to get though because of the low starting credit limits. Kinda disappointed =/

Denied with a 651 credit score. They ran it through Transunion.
their reasons were:
"length of time accounts have been established"
"proportion of loan balances to loan amounts is too high"
"lack of recent revolving account information"
i have a $1,000 student loan that i have not started to pay off yet (you know..since i'm still in college?) and i have history on it for 7 months.
Since most college students are younger (~20) i would have thought they'd be a little lenient..since its..you know, a student card..i'm honestly surprised they didn't say anything about me not having a job though.
