I currently have a Cash back Amex card rebating 1.5% if paid in full monthly or 2% if min balance paid monthly. No yearly min $6500. requirement. I plan on calling AMEX to get better definition on the details of getting 5% back. One possibility is a monthly maximum cap on how much they will allow. Typical of what Visa does.
