USAA® World MasterCard®

You might want to learn a little bit about credit to income. If I max every card I have that would put me at 130K debt times that by 2% that will give you the monthly min. Payment amount of 2600.00 I make $10,000 a month that is only 26% debt to income which still keeps me in an A+ Category  for my DTI but not very good because all my credit is maxed. That would never happened any ways. Now if I had about 1mil credit then maybe it would be in a credit nightmare. USAA is horrible they could have at least extended $500 to see how I use credit cards.

USAA® World MasterCard®

I wish there was a no star rating for USAA......I just got done filling out an application for there credit card. I only make money off the credit cards I have been using them collecting the rewards and pay off the card before interest I was instantly DENIED. I have a 730 fico score make about 120K+ a year and about 10K in an CC debt and about 130K CC available. I was so surprised that I had to call them and ask why? I have never been denied credit in the last 2+ years but I was DENIED from USAA not just this 1 time about 4 times in the last 7 years when my credit was a 640+I guess 640 is a reason to deny but a 730 with a perfect history for the past 5 years. So I was sure that something was wrong with there system. The rep was nice and I explained to her that all the BIGGER banks like my chase card (8000K limit) (710 score at time of app) Barclays carnival Card ($8,000 limit 690 Fico at time of app) discover card (9000K limit) (690 score at time of app) Navy FCU Credit Card (30K LIMIT) (695 score at time of app) Cap one, Hooters and HSBC all around 3K each (650 score at time of app) had no problem receiving credit and I said Currently bank with NAVY FCU because I know I can depend on them like when they approved me for 30K instantly with a credit score of 695. And you denied me credit????? She pulled my credit history and said there was 4 issues back in 2005. I told her yes that was 6 years ago I have proving myself to be well educated on using my cards for the last 6 years in a perfect manor. She put me on hold for like 10min and then came back because of the past history we cannot extend credit. Are you serious??? I can go to any bank besides USAA & BOA and qualify for close to the best interest rate and any credit card and you can't even extend a $500 credit card? I just couldn't believe it. If you are looking for a bank to do business with and don't want to wait 10 years to get credit from due to a minor tardiness of 30 days more then 6 years ago go somewhere else. has the worst lending practices and they are small. I think they are getting smaller and are not able to lend like NAVY FCU. And don't lend a hand to new prospective customers. CREDIT UNIONS are the best and the reason I say that is because my highest credit limit is with navy FCU of 30K because they know my past 6 years has been perfect and because I know I can count on them that is were I put my 120K+ paycheck a year in. Don't go with USAA they are horrible I would go with any other bank like chase or Discover. HSBC not as much because they are getting smaller and there lending is weak but at least you can start with something. Look at it like this NAVY FCU Credit union is the biggest Credit Union in the United States. WHY? Because there lending is reasonable they are open 24hrs there customer service is good and they are dependable. They might not have the best interest in every category but nobody does. Some places have lower interest rates in auto or loans then others. But the one thing I do know is if i need an auto loan or any credit I know I can count on NAVY FCU and that is what I want out of a bank I don't mind paying 2.99% on an auto loan when others offer 2.96% because the others usually have 820+ criteria and a bunch of other fee's that make them non dependable unless you have a 820+ credit score and less then 1% of Americans have that stick with a dependable bank for lending and that have alot of capital.

Bank of America Card

I wish there was a no star rating for BOA......I just got done filling out an application for the 1%2%3% credit card. I only make money off the credit cards I have been using them collecting the rewards and pay off the card before interest and I thought the 123 Card would be great for that. I was instantly DENIED. I have a 739 fico score make about 120K+ a year and about 10K in CC debt and about 130K in available credit. I was so surprised that I had to call the recon number. I have never been denied credit in the last 2+ years but I was DENIED from BOA 3 and 4 and 5 years ago when my credit was a 640+ which I could understand. So I was sure that something was wrong with there system when I have a 739+ score. The rep was very hard to work with and very pushy when I started talking to her I said I have had my chase card (8000K limit) (710 score at time of app) Barclays carnival Card ($8,000 limit 690 Fico at time of app) discover card (9000K limit) (690 score at time of app) Navy FCU Credit Card (30K LIMIT) (695 score at time of app) Cap one, Hooters and HSBC all around 3K each (650 score at time of app) for about 2 years and the cap one hooters HSBC for about 7 years all paid on time every month and right now none of my cards have a balance except for my Navy FCU.. And you denied me credit????? She pulled my credit history and said there was 4 issues back in 2005. I told her yes that was 6 years ago I have proving myself to be well educated on using my cards for the last 6 years in a perfect manor. she put me on hold for like 10min and then came back in a mean tone becuase of the past history we can not extend credit. Are you serious??? I can go to any bank besides BOA and quilify for close to the best interest rate and any credit card and you can't even extend a $500 credit card? I just couldn't believe it. If you are looking for a bank to do business with and don't want to wait 10 years to get credit from due to a minor tardyness of 30 days more then 6 years ago go somewhere else. Bank of america not only has the worst customer service but the worst lending practices. I think they are geting smaller and are not able to lend like they used to. So as they drop in size they take as much as they can from the customers they do have. And don't lend a hand to new prospective customers. CREDIT UNIONS are the best and the reason I say that is because my highest credit limit is with navy FCU of 30K because they know my past 6 years has been perfect and becuase I know I can count on them that is were I put my 120K+ paycheck a year in. Don't go with BOA they are horrible I would go with any other bank like chase or Discover. HSBC not as much becuase there lending is weak as well but at least you can start with something.

Citi® Platinum Select® MasterCard®

I don't like CITI Bank at all there customer service is not that good and they are very hard to get a credit card from. I have a 714 CK Score and applied but was denied due to too many inquirys. I have 3 on my credit report in the last 2 years. So i decied to apply for a CC at my credit union and was instantly approved for 15K. and then I applied for a chase Credit card instantly approved for $3000 big banks are more stingy go with your local credit union.

Chase Freedom® Visa - $100 Bonus Cash Back + 0% Intro APR

I have to give Chase 3 stars because I am very happy with the credit line they gave me of $3000.00 with my CK Score at 702 but I don't like there customer service at all. They hire to many ghetto people that don't treat a customer like they should. I don't get upset at any of the CSR but they either don't really care about your questions or don't know how to answer them. On the other hand I recently got a discover card an I can not believe the customer service if there were more stars I would give them 10. They have excellent customer service no matter what your question is but they don't have the best starting limits.

Navy Federal Credit Union

Navy FCU did have a bad track recorded earlier in the 1980's 1990's I believe in the 2000's they made a big turnaround. They brought in as many members as possible and revamped there customer service teams. They have always been generous with Credit lines. I have a 720 Credit score and was instantly approved for 14K Credit card and 15K line of credit, when all other so called big banks Citi, Discover, Amex denied me. I would say chase but they gave me 3K. Navy FCU has proved to me that they will be there and that is way I like this bank. Many other banks such as HSBC, CITI, CHASE have been decreasing there members credit limits to 1k 2k limits according to comments I've seen. NAVY FCU interest rates are low around 6.9% for 720+ when my chase card is currently at 22.9%. I only got it for the 6 month 0%. Navy is the best Credit union out there and the most generous in their Credit offers. I highly recommend them if you are in the service or DOD Civilian.

USAA® World MasterCard®

USAA is horrible. I will never depend on this bank for anything. Applied for their AMEX 2 years ago with a credit score of 580 Denied and I said ok I understand  score is a bit low. So I just came back Credit Scores are 680 Experian 710 Equifax and 730 Transunion. So I decided to apply for the AMEX again and they said Denied for to many inquires (8 of them). After that I said F*** USAA and Applied for a NAVY FCU Credit card and was instantly approved for 15k I was like OMG!!! and then I applied for a Line of Credit  and I was instantly approved for 14K I dropped to the floor applied for a APG FCU Credit Card approved for 4k instantly then a Chase Freedom Card approved instantly for 3K and Credit increases on all 12 of my current credit cards all approved except 1 which was a small time HSBC card or 600 dollar limit. I have a total of 74K in credit now most thanks to NAVY FCU(OF 29K) and have 2 checking and 1 savings account with NAVY FCU. I have $600 dollars in debt and I am very careful with my credit. Also I CLOSED my accounts with USAA  =) Stick with Credit Unions they are the most generous and lowest interest rates ever (AVG 8.9% on my cards) o and by the way USAA auto insurence for me $117 month for 2 cars (Age 25) GIECO: $59.00 a month for two cars. Somthing is wrong here USAA Haters!!!.

Discover® Student Card w/ no annual fee

This is not a good offer Discover sucks. I never applied for them but never willl. If you have 600 score or above I would recommend Capital One. They approved me for 1 Orbitz Capital One $1500 dollar limit and a Capital One Platinum at the same time for $1100 credit limit total of $2600. My credit score was 601 no late or missed payments in the last 3 years. This is when I applied in January. Now my Credit limits have double on both cards due to the step up program they offer. $500 dollar increase every 3 months on each card if there has not been any late of over credit limits issues.
