To get a car loan you will need two years with the same job and show good income. Your debt to income ratio must be acceptable also. Bottom line is you may need a cosigner. Hold on to your emergency money and make a little extra payment each month on your credit cards. Good Luck.

Get a conventional loan if possible. For about a $200k loan, closing costs should be $1500 to $2000 to get the lowest rate in the 3's. You can get zero closing cost's if you adjust the interest rate higher. Read all you can under mortgage's on this site. At first your to get a truth and lending statement and that will document max cost and interest rate. Good Luck.

Use cards for gas and groceries and pay off each month. Never let your balance go over 20% of the limit. Check out some local credit unions for a line of credit for 2k or 3k. With your score they will charge about 8 or 9%. It's like available cash you have access to at for example a credit union. You must keep this balance low also and this is good emergency money available to you. A line of credit will deversify your credit mix. Good Luck.
