3G is a very limited bandwidth service, not designed for high data transfer rates like continuous net surfing. My advice, wait for the much faster 4G service. Sprint already has it in select cities, and I'm sure all the majors will have the capability soon.

This is a good offer, most BofA promos are only for $25-$75. If you open your account online there are no monthly fees and no direct deposit requirements. I have been with BofA for over 20 years and really like them. But just make sure you don't overdraft your account, they will kill you in fees if you are not careful with your money management.

I tried Cricket about 2 years ago after getting tired of all the price gouging of the majors. Cricket may be good in TX, but service in Phoenix, AZ is "lousy" at best. I had lots of dropped calls and numerous dead zones. After 3 months I realized I wasted my money on the Cricket phone and went back to Verizon.

Isn't funny the way CK only shows the total number of positive "Yes" user votes? Based on these comments, I bet there are 3 or more times as many votes for "No" to the Is This A Good Offer question. Nice "spin" CK, too bad you can't find products to offer that you're willing to show both sides of the Pros and Cons for.

Thank you for this answer. I have several cards with high limits and low utilization, and have often wondered what "excessive available credit" means. Your guideline of <=$100K puts my mind at ease, thanks!</p>

RIP-OFF ALERT !!!
From the T&C's:
GRACE PERIOD FOR NEW CHARGES ON ACCOUNT
You have no grace period in which to repay either your purchases or your cash advances before a finance charge will be imposed.
OUCH! As if the $99 app fee and $59 annual fee aren't enough, they will also charge you 19.5% interest from day 1 on your purchases too. WHAT A MAJOR RIP OFF!!!
Even if you have the worst credit, there is no need to pay these excessive credit card rates and fees. If you want to rebuild your credit, go to a credit union and take out a share-backed loan. These loans are secured by cash in your savings account, so virtually anybody can get one, regardless of credit score. They almost always report to all 3 bureaus, and the interest rates are usually very low (right now 4% - 5%). Effectively you are borrowing your own money at 4%-5%, but in return you get positive credit reporting, at a much more reasonable cost than any ripoff credit card.
