After several solicitations in the mail I finally applied online to take advantage of balance transfer offer. Received denial letter two weeks later stating, "credit obligations are too high to meet our approval guidelines when compared to your stated income." Total debt is $41k including $22k in secured loans, income exceeds $60k per year. My scores across the board are 710+ (low IMO all things considered) and no negative items on credit report.
