I just found out today that I got approve for 1200 only. I can't get anything with that, I always stuff that cost $200 up but pay it off right away. What can 1200 do? Maybe I'll as for a credit increase see if that works!

Its March 30, 2011 @ 2:30am. Link said, 'there was a system error but be assured we have received your applicationa and will notify you in the mail with the address you have provided' but I couldn't wait so I called the citi and found out I was approved. I don't know what the c.l. is but i'm happy. I apply for it back in July 2010 and was denied cause I had 2 credit max out but I just paid it off and improve my credit and kept it at zero balance and my credit score went up by 75points on creditkarma. I don't know what the other credit scores are but as long as someone else's infor is not on my credit report then I'm happy. I had citi before and I'm glad to have them again. They were my 1st credit card ever when I turn 18yrs old =) Ooh my CK score is 708 don't know EQ or EX scores!

They are all 3 different bureau.. and different scoring system. But CK gets their credit score from TU.

It will always hurt your account to close any credit card. Just keep it open and use it to pay your pg&e or smud bill then pay it off that month.

No it doesn't affect your credit score but it helps by keeping ur 'Utilization Score' lower. But if the bank see that you don't use the card as often or as much; they may lower your credit limit, which will hurt your credit score or close the account, which is worse. It happen to me!! This is my experience. I hope it helps.

I would just pay it off; since old/close acct doesnt help credit score anymore; in fact its lowering the credit score. I'm having the same problem but my balance is higher. If its a loan of any kind its good to slowly pay it off cause it helps with credit score.

NO dont cancel!!! Pay it off and keep it; I did the same thing by canceling my Citi when they raise my APR for no reason and it really hurt my credit score. I would just say pay it off and keep it OPEN as a credit builder.

What is 'Damir' talking about.. I have 'Old Navy' store card and 'Macys' store credit card; they report my credit line and amount use all the time. In fact its on my report from all 3 bureau. Don't give ppl work answer if you don't know itself. But one thing I don't is if it affects the rating thats all. Other then that store 'DO REPORT'.

I often thought about doing this also; apply for a loan and not use it for 2-6months then paying it off. I think it will hurt our credit score more then it helps though, because it will decrease our "Average Age of Open Credit Line". That is just my conclusion since I been doing a research. Let me know if you find out the real FACTS or information. Good Luck =D

DENIED!!! I got the email today saying I was deny for the the following reasons.
o Your credit report shows your accounts have a low credit
limit.
o Your credit report shows a serious delinquency.
I have a debt balance from 3 different credit card: CapitalOne, Chase, and CitiBank. I opt out of the CitiCard when my APR sky rocket to 24.99% last yr of August2009. I've been with Citi since 2004 but I guess its not good enough. CK score was 678 when I apply. SO SAD. I just wanted balance transfer from Chase; they too sky rocket my APR when they took over WaMu. I'll just pay all my cards off! Ooh also the delinquency was from BoA in June, July, August of 2006 for 60 each. I was out of work and had no MONEY!!!

I apply today July 21, 2010 and was told I needed more processing time; will be notify within a week. And I check and they pull my credit check from Equifax. OMG, I have 3 late payments on BoA in 2006. I hope they don't take that into consideration. I'm gonna wait for the answer and be update everyone.

When Chase took over WaMu my APR for my credit card was also raised from 12.24% - 21.24% for NO REASON. Now pay half way off and won't use it unless I can pay in FULL each billing cycle. They STINK a lot!

Its go to go to Experian but its better to go to all Credit Bureau and pull out a report from each; each credit bureau can contain different credit file or information. I had that experience with TransUnion; and the others were fine. Its FREE to get your credit report from all 3 bureau on annualcreditreport.com

Credit Karma score is from TransUnion and the Loan Officer that you guys were getting the loan from could pull the credit score from another Bureau; such as: experian, equifax, or fico score!!!
