I thought I was doing everything right to increase my credit score, but no, I wasn't. According to Credit Karma I had a total debt of $58897 in July, 2010 and my credit score was 797. Now my total debt has been reduced to $39995 and my credit score has "fallen" to 769. I have paid all bills on time during this time period.
Makes no sense whatsoever!
