What is the VantageScore?

+1

I dont really understand the newvantage score... my normal score is 768 which is quite good, but my vantage score is only 743 whichbased upon its scale is not very good (only C) ??? I have not done anyhitng "Bad" in the last 24 months ( no late payments ever...) , so why do I have a bad vantage score?

Capital One® VentureOne(SM) Rewards Credit Card

It looks interesting... mainly becuase there are no foreign transaction fees and I live an work overseas full time. My credit score is 756, but all of my income is from a Foreign company, so not sure how that works into things... does anyone know?

Citi® Platinum Select® MasterCard®

I have seen a lot of comments about credit cards jacking up the rate on existing "good" customers...

I have heard that the "real reason" they are doing this is to try and force people into "bad loan status" in order to qualify for government stimulus packages.

My sister is a small business owner and had a revolving credit account with their bank of aprox USD 25,000... always paid on time and then out of the blue a few months back, the bank sent a letter advise that the entire 25,000 was due immediately.

The word they got from their lawyer is that many banks are doing this in order to force customers into Default in order to collect funds from the US government... the more "bad debt" they have the more money they get...
