I believe they've done this promotion before, I remember getting $35 for starting it over the summer. It took about 60+ days to actually get the money from what I remember. I switched to B of A about 6 months ago, and I do have to say, so far so good. I've had several problems, including fraudulent charges, and they've always been extremely courteous, helpful, and quick about resolving issues.

I do not by any means take the sides of any bank, however everyone is right, there are tons of banks reducing available credit to avoid possible "bad debt". You don't use it, but you still have the potential to use it, and sometimes they don't want to take that risk. It's very frustrating, I know how you feel.

They do NOT give you a quote. Just a bunch of calls and spam.
