There is no average credit score for approval because nobody has been approved for this card yet that Karma has kept track of. I applied on Jan 18, 2010. At the time Chase (or First USA) pulled my credit, my score was 754 Experian, my DTI ratio was less than 12%, with 4 years perfect credit history. I was just denied Feb 5, 2010. This is the reason as noted in this letter they mailed me:
YOU HAVE HAD A LOAN OR CREDIT CARD WITHIN THE PAST 24 MONTHS.
A RECENT INQUIRY. (My last inquiry was 9 months ago.)
So I have concluded that Chase Business is not in the business of lending right now. So I would recommend nobody apply until the economy improves and Chase starts to advertise their business products more.
