Received a pre-approval application in the mail for an intro rate of 0% for 12 months, and 15.99% APR after that. I needed a 0% APR credit card to carry an anticiplated hospital bill due within the next couple weeks. I then looked up reviews on Citi Simplicity at Credit Karma and saw that they offer an 18 month 0% intro APR application on Credit Karma's website. I applied for that one instead (vs. replying to my pre-approved offer) and got an instant approval with a credit limit of $6,800 and a 17.99% APR after that. They pulled my report from Experian. My scores are as follows: Experian: 725 Equifax: 729 Credit Karma: 721 Hope this helps.

Applied online - for the $300 bonus cash back app, found on google - and was not instantly approved, but got a call the next morning from Chase's fraud protection department. They verified my identity and I was approved for a $5,000 credit limit. My scores are as follows: Experian: 738 Equifax: 739 Credit Karma: 721 I have five (5) other credit card accounts that total up to a 25% utilization rate, $14,000 in school loans, and an auto loan at $10,000.

I'm planning on applying for this card to take advantage of the $200 cash back on a $500 purchase for an iPad. Question: I wanted to apply under my name because I have a higher credit score than my huband, but my husband is the only one who generates income. Would I be able to apply with my social and use his employment info as the source of income, or would we need to just apply under his social? I looked at the application and they do ask for employment specifics such as employer name and lenth of employment, rather than just a general household income number. I don't doubt we would get approved regarless of who applies - just with my higher credit score, I was thinking we would get a better interest rate and higher credit limit. Let me know if you have an idea!
