Good job on the new website. It has all the features most of us need. I like the look of the new card.

This recent switch to a new card and new service company has not gone smoothly for me. They made several mistakes. Computer systems are down, customer service can not help. Often you phone call doesn't go through.
I would suggest new people wait a few weeks before applying. These guys are overloaded.

I got your card 1 year ago with $1000 deposit and I use it constantly. I like the card very much but you need to improve the online access.
You can download transactions for the month but not a real statement. Both are needed. The history only goes back 3 months, this is way too short.
Showing pending transactions is good, not all CC show them. However, you often have charges remain on the pending list after they are posted. It makes it confusing.
You ought to allow online deposits for increased CL. Capital 1 does it for there secured card.
I still think you guys are one of the best deals out there for people with very bad credit. I think you should offer a better card for people like me, a good customer whose credit has improved.

What day of the month do you report to the Credit Bureaus?

Building credit is all about using it and paying it. Store cards count and you should use them for things you need and afford. Hopefully they won't drop you.
You should also have a major credit card that you consistently use. Length of credit history counts. so you should plan to keep any credit card you get for a long time (until Bankruptcy clears).
You may have a hard time to qualify for a major bank secured card. I would try them first.
As for PSB, if you can afford to keep you money in collateral account for a long time, the credit history will be worth far more than $79 one time fee.

Suggestions for Online Account management.
1. Add Next Closing Date
2. Allow for scheduling payment and choose the date and amount.
3. Print actual statements like are mailed (Keep the transaction downloads).

I suggest you get 1 card with $1500 from Public Savings Bank. And get another secured card from a different bank (like Orchard/HSBC). They allow for a larger initial deposit and possibility of converting to unsecured over time.
I have recently got both and Public Savings Bank was much quicker (1 month vs 4 months) and much less paperwork.

If you get this card as SECURED, does it ever convert to not secured when your credit improves. If so, what is typical time for reviews?

I was referring to the $1500 maximum deposit. It was $1000 when I applied a few months ago. $200 to $1500 is better opening range.

You raised the maximum opening deposit right after I got my card. I think the $25 fee to increase the deposit is high.
I suggest you allow the first increase for free. Also, as an incentive, I suggest you allow one increase per year at no charge for members in good standing (no infractions for the year)
Otherwise the card is great!

OK, I tried the download and that works well for getting it into a spreadsheet.
Thanks

My first closing date was Oct 6. As of Oct Oct 12, account was reported to Equifax. All info is correct. Very good.
However, there is no online option to download or print a monthly statement. I can print the monthly transactions, but not download them. Please provide the option to download a complete monthly statement, preferably a pdf file.
Thanks

I just received my Visa and starting using it. Everything went smoothly.
I have 5 large credit card defaults that won't clear my credit report for 6 years. $79 fee for 6 years is a great deal for me.

Over $250 in fees the first year. Unbelievable

No grace period means I pay interest on every purchase even if I pay in full each month.
And $59 annual fee. There are much better deals out there.

My wife trashed my credit last year with several large credit card defaults. A major bank declined me for a secure card.
This by far the best deal for people with bad credit score.
So I applied online this week, All it took was 1 confirming email and 1 confirming phone call. They said I'm approved, send the check.
So far so good.
