Try going in the back door. What I mean is open a Capital One Money Market Account. It only costs $1.00 to open, more would be better. After 30 days re-apply for the card, since you are already in the Capital One family with the Money Market account They will most likely accept your application. It worked for me

Hey you can still get this card. You might have to go in the back door, but I bet you can still get approved. By back door I mean open a money market account with Capital One. You only need $ 1.00 to open, but a little more would be better. After you open and receive your account save a little as much as you can. Reapply for the credit card again after three to six months. It works

I applied for this card and recieved it with a credit score 0f 630.
This is a new Capital One Bank and they are a bit more lenient than years ago. I say try it. I just got a credit line increase, and I am happy for now.

I applied and received this card with a credit score of 592. I was kind of shocked but they gave me a opening credit limit of $ 500, but it is a start

Good card. AMEX's first and the best. I was approved for one with a low credit score. I was shocked and surprised but I have had this card for 12 years.

This card stinks. The best AMEX card to get is the Green card. AMEX is very particular who they want to issue credit even if your credit score is 800

Sorry But if you really need to get a Platinum card and have lousy credit this is not as bad as it seems. It will eventually lead you to better credit card offers. I tried it and the system works
