I have had this card for about 4 years and have always paid the balance in full each month. Two months ago I submitted the payment after the cutoff time on the same day it was due, so it posted the next day. I didn't think this would be a problem since I have NEVER been late on a payment, but on my next statement my interest rate skyrocketed from 9.24% to 29.99%! I called them immediately and they said they would have to investigate it and they would mail me a letter with the results. A week later I get a letter that simply tells me to read the terms agreement about late payments. Needless to say I will NOT be using this card any longer.
