If you are going to get a chase card then get the Freedom card that gives you 3% back in your top 3 spending categories. It has a $600 limit on the 3% bonus. Everything else always gets 1% cash back. I usually average out to 2% per month spending $900 monthly

If you buy things on in a foreign currency you will be charged a 2% convince fee. The Blue cards don't have this fee.
