I've had my card for 7 years. No credit line increase, just an interst rate increase. I've paid every single payment on time on all my accounts even through the market crash.  I think this is the year I close the account.

Credit One Bank® Visa® Platinum

IT's a so-so card, nothing special. Interest rate is kinda high but I'm paying it down. I'm going to close the account once it's paid because I do not want to keep paying the monthy fee. I'm trying to get my monthly bills to a minimum. Originally I got this card thinking it would be a good way to have a larger credit line but Merrick Bank is making Credit One way too expensive to do business with, especialy with the small cl and meager increases it's just not worth it.

Merrick Bank Credit Card

I have a little higher interest rate and no annual fee. I was promised an increase to $2200 once I had made 6 on time payments. Not quite there yet so we'll see if that happens. I haven't missed any payments on any of my accounts in 7 years so this should be easy enough to get. If the $2200 materializes I think I'm going to dump all my little cards except the oldest one. I'm also saving money now that I have most of my cards paid off. ALLY bank is really offering a lot for the money. ALLY bank's checking debit mastercard is a Platinum MasterCard. That means there are almost as many benefits as with a platinum credit card. The only difference is you don't go in the hole for a purchase because you are your own lender. You are also earning 1% on your checking or savings account while you save for your purchase. This Platinum benefit is making me think of just getting rid of my credit cards altogether.

Capital One® Classic Platinum Credit Card

Decent enough operation. I have done everything online since the start. Website is easy to use and very stable in that I mean they're not changing it every other month like some places do.  Gave me an initial cl of $500 then raised it to $750 after three on time payments. That was 6 years ago. No idea what my score was then but it couldn't have been as good as it is now since I was just starting out with credit cards.  They've been good about not raising the interest rates unlike crazy greedy Citibank and their fellow crooks at Chase Bank.  They're really good about crediting your online payments that day.  I gave 5 stars despite the fact they're kinda slow with regular cl increases. BTW they're not slow on checking your credit report every month. When I pulled my full reports I saw Capital One had been looking at my reports almost twice a month for about the past 4 years. I've never missed a payment on any of my accounts. Never paid late and always paid more than the minimum. What gives with that kind of treatment?

Citi® Diamond Preferred® Card

This card sux.  I originally had a platinum mastercard and they replaced it with this sucky card. No benefits like the platinum.  NO missed payments or late payments in 5 years gets you no cl increase, only an interest rate increase from 19% to 31%.  STAY AWAY FROM THIS CARD.

The Home Depot® Consumer Credit Card

Before the market crash is when I got this card. They gave me a $3500 cl. I have no idea what my credit score was back then. When Citibank's sky started falling down around them because of their greed they cut my cl down to 2500, then 2000, then 1750, then 1500, then 1200, then $750, all within 8 months. They did this despite the facts that I never missed any payments or was late on any of my accounts with anyone. Those jugheads dropped my cl at one time to lower than my balance making me over my cl. They were kind enough to charge me over the cl fees for that too. >:(  Then they finally dropped the cl to $500 which makes it basicaly useless to buy anything at Home Depot. If I happen to be there I'll buy a bottle of Coke with it and pay it off the same day from my bank bill pay system.  They also raised the rate from an already high 19% to an eye popping 31% and for no good reason other than they were greedy and had nothing to restrain them.  My purchase of a dishwasher was already locked in at 19% so I just paid that off and I'm not going to use their card again, ever! Citibank is too greedy. In case you don't get the meaning of my post I'm not recommending this card to anyone, ever!

Credit One Bank®

They've been good to me so far.  Started out with cl of $750, my score was 610.  A year later I'm at cl of $1275 and my score is 685/779. Looking to get into a car soon so this may be very helpful.  Online payments take a week to clear if you make the payment on the Credit One website but they credit you the day you make the payment. If I make the payment from my bank's bill pay service it still takes 5 business days to get to Credit One and a couple more days to show up on the website. Way too long.

WaMu Platinum MasterCard

How can this be accurate information if WaMu doesn't even exist as a bank anymore? It hasn't for about 3 years now.  I had a WaMu card then it was taken over by Chase and before that happened it was the best card I had. Chase canceled my account even though I never missed on payment and they were all on time, on all my accounts.

Chase Freedom® Visa - $200 Bonus Cash Back

being in the business to make money and raping people financially are two different things.People have a legitimate complaint when they're being financially raped. And just because someone said yes doesn't mean it's not rape.

Chase Freedom® Visa - $200 Bonus Cash Back

I've been happy with Experian. They dropped my negative strikes long before the others. My score went over 700 with Experian long before the others as well. I'm waiting for Equifax to catch up. They hold on to things too long. They have credit inquiries going back 5 years.

Chase Freedom® Visa - $200 Bonus Cash Back

That's why I don't bother with Chase. I had a Visa from WAMU with $1800 cl.  Chase bought WAMU, raised my interest rate then cancelled the card on me. If I'd known they were going to screw me like that I would have just closed the account and kept the lower interest rate. Dirty *******s.
