Most places won't do it. Don't worry about it. Just get new cards when you need them. 3 is a good amount.

Mutiple inquries for a same loan type over a short period of time is only counted as one on your SCORE. On your report, you will still all o them because it is a record but they won't hurt your score in the same way.

Unless you have a lien or garnishment it shouldn't. If you do, it means you don't pay your bills.

The effects diminish gradually over time. Don't expect a sudden increase becaues it has been 10 years.

You dont need to get them removed if they are open and in good standing. When you say sold are you talking about collections accounts?

You could have split files at the bureaus. Call the TransUnion see they an alias on you.

Probably about the same unless the credit cards were maxed out. A HELOC is just another revolving line just like a CC so in the credit score algorthim it doesnt make a big difference.

You don't have a question either.

Lenders report every 30 days. But it is really up to the instituion. There is no specific date. I think CK shows the report date of each card so just plan 30 days after that date.

Both will help. I think settling the collections will be a bit better.

A collections company doesnt need to make a contract with you. They make a deal with the holder of your debt. That is how the system works.

Data from Equifax is different than TransUnion is different than Experian. Also they could be using a different scoring model.

Re-applying won't help if it is a new card. You have to ask them to reactive it. Your score is good so I wouldnt sweat it too much. Just make sure you have a have few cards open and in good standing.

No. Traditional credit bureaus only take data from lenders. There are some no traditional bureaus like eBureau which will take your rent info. But they don't really help on your traditional score and you have to pay them.

Take a closer look at who is doing it. Go to AnnualCreditReport.com
Response posted 2 weeks ago
He isn't required to report to the bureaus. He is only required to report the CORRECT information if he does. So there really isnt anything you can do if he doesnt want to report.

Just contact Chase and let them know of the error.

After only 3 missed payments? I've had my Citi card for 12 years and never had 1 missed payment. Missed payments are the precursor to default.
