Read online reviews of Capital One very carefully before you consider this offer. They have a history of not reporting credit limit (so your credit utilization component looks like you always have the card maxed out which hits your score), or not reporting to all the bureau's, or not reporting any positive factors at all..... individual experience may vary but it doesn't take long looking online to see that there are a lot of people reporting problems with their credit thanks to CapOne

FYI - Upromise doesn't use a seperate card. You just register your credit and store cards with them and then get cashback when you shop at certain stores, or by certain products. You set it up and forget it. You can also request a check payment so even though it's promoted as college savings you can use the money for anything.
Grocery stores only pay on certain items (they have Upromise symbols on the packaging mostly or on the shelf) while others like CVS, Exxon, Bed Bath & Beyond etc pay on total spend.
Their online cashback mall isn't as competitive as many other cashback malls though so be careful about using them for online shopping.

Series 2 TiVo's won't tune OTA digital channels so come Feb 2009 they are useless for over-the-air transmissions - and what cable/satellite company doesn't offer a similar device now to its users at a lower monthly fee?
