After calling them every 6 months for 3+ years, they FINALLY gave me the best price.
$98.50 versus $135 every 6 months for liability.
The only difference is I no longer get roadside assistance.
Thats not worth $73 a year to me. But now that I dont have it, I will probably need it !
LOL

I'm saving a TON of money on my car insurance by dumping my car! I take the subway everywhere. Hehehehehe :-) I must get at least 3 offers for car insurance a week in my snail mail telling me how much I will save.

I have to say Geico has a great rate. My new policy is $800 less per year. Not sure if I am happy with Geico or annoyed with Esurance. I guess a bit of both.

I cancelled Geico letting them know that if they are in so much financial trouble that they have to cut credit to their good customers, how could I ever trust them to be there for me if I needed them?
I was a Geico insurance and credit card customer for seven years. Then they cut my credit even though I was always on time with them and everyone else and never over the limit. I called to ask why and they said that they were doing this to lots of customers. So I looked around and found a much better deal with State Farm. I cancelled Geico letting them know that if they are in so much financial trouble that they have to cut credit to their good customers, how could I ever trust them to be there for me if I needed them?

This isn't much of an offer. All insurers give free quotes....what makes this one special??
For the record, the best insurers are:
1. USAA - For military.
2. Amica
Those two are top notch. The rest are far behind.

I've been a satisfied GEICO customer for more than a decade. The service it terrific and I compare prices every now and again and nobody else comes close in cost. But every insurance company has their own profiling, and one company's meat may be another's poison.

Save me over $300.00 every six months. Never had a problem out them. They let me add my high risk son on for the duration of my policy (fourth months) with out charging me anything extra. No other company every did that.

Their prices are ridiculous. I got a better deal and equally good customer service with Amica.

I called GEICO and they offered me auto insurance for three times as much as my current company (MetLife) charges me. I asked them why and they said it was because of a bankruptcy that I had 8 years before. It was embarrassing (for them.)

Little known fact that credit can affect your auto insurance rates.
