They do not cover New England states.

Their coverage area is pretty weird due to how the company evolved. They have good coverage in Connecticut, Pennsylvania mainly around Philadelphia, New York (NYC area), New Jersey and Delaware.
And then they are also all over South Texas... they have VERY good coverage in San Antonio because they have major ops there. I live in Philadelphia and travel to San Antonio a lot and I am surprised at all the places I can get 5 bars with Cricket's 3G modem, even far away from the cities.

I tried Cricket about 2 years ago after getting tired of all the price gouging of the majors. Cricket may be good in TX, but service in Phoenix, AZ is "lousy" at best. I had lots of dropped calls and numerous dead zones. After 3 months I realized I wasted my money on the Cricket phone and went back to Verizon.
