the rewards for 2012 for this card are terrible! No value added here at all. I don't think I'll be using it.

Okay, I am relatively new to this card, but thusfar I like it. I really like the 5% cash back on purchases and the $300 credit they have given me for mearly opening an account. Time will tell with this card, but so far, Chase is off to a strong start with me.

I have this for 7 yrs. I had Capital one card before and Citi card also. But I closed CapitalOne card and never use Citi. I love this one. As everyone says, no annual fees and excellent rewards program makes this the best card.

I have had this card (prior version as well) for almost 5 years now. This card has one of the best rewards program along with no conversion fees for international usage and collision coverage on car rentals.
Reporting fraudulent chareges was a breeze and get my replacement card in 2 days. All in all an excellent card to have in your wallet.

A good card in features, and a high credit limit- but Chase bumped up the APR a LOT when I got hit with one 30+ late on my credit report about two years ago on an unrelated card. (a Capital One)
It kills me cause the 30+ late was due to a annual fee on a card i forgot I even had.... Regardless I'm saddled with the high APR still two years later with no further blemishes on my report, and Capital One, the card that I makde the 30+ late payment lowered the APR back on their card and refunded the late fee after I explained to them what happened.
I still use the Freedom card, but don't carry a balance to get the 5% back on gas and whatnot.
I suppose I could try to open a Sapphire card or maybe an Amazon thruCchase get a lower limit and try to combine cards- but since I'm not carrying a balance anymore its a moot point.
Bottom line nice features, huge limit and reasonable APR initially- but don't make a little mistake and carry a balance. When CHASE smells blood they go for the jugular.
