Discover gives out low lines even for folks above 720. Credit unions have cash rewards cards just as good as Discover and are taken by more merchants than Discover. Save yourself the hard inquiry and go for a major CU instead like Navy or Penfed.

I agree with christoofar. Stay away from Discover!!

I agee too, stay away from those bank cards. I get better awards and help if I need it from the credit unions. Navy, Picatinny, and Affinity I find the best for my needs. Chose one that is good for your needs

Looks like the lowest CK score they have approved is 690, so it's not surprising, but it saves me the hard inquiry of applying (or even thinking about it), since mine is only 691 ... thanks for the info.

This is stuid, I have no debt other then the house. How can a credit card save me $120.00 a month???

You could probably earn 2% cash back on your purchases and save money.

I sure don't know how this can save me $607 in 3 years. I pay off my credit card every month to avoid interest charges. I have one small credit union bill.

Do you get cash back on your existing card? That's the general savings component for people who pay in full each month.

Should show balance transfer and cash advance fees here without going any further. If there is a fee for balance transfer than I won't waste my time.

For the first time in a couple of years I'm going
to be paying interest.
If things go as I expect I will be doing that for
about three months, and I DO know how much that
will cost me.
I have "checks" from my existing credit providers.
The best one would save me about two or three
dollars US which means none are worth the effort
of finding a pen.
My point is. Without what the balance transfer
fees are going to be?
Well, Bleah.
