This card has worked well for me. I carry no balance, and the offer for the card I got gave me a fixed 9.9% APR. The online service works well enough and gives you the ability to generate one-time-use (or limited-time-use) disposable credit card numbers. I've been happy with the limited interactions I've had with the company on the phone, and have no complaints overall, other than receiving too many balance transfer checks in the mail.

Got letter similar to jenniferw207 post: Interest rate to double or could opt to close out. Company rep said that it wasn't my good credit history but the poor ecomony. Account will automatically close. We've moved most of our debt onto that card given low rate and will of course have to pay off soon. Crazy thing is that recently that just sent us another letter: Increasing our credit limit! Given we're about 25% below current limit that seems totally crazy!! We declined the offer

Stay away from them!! Citi will claim your electronic payment from Regions Bank was "bent", and send it back to Regions. I had Regions overnight another 1 (before the due date) and Citi then hit my 0% interest with a return check fee. Even thou they are the ones that returned it!!! Jacked my rate to %29.99.

Citi has been pretty good to me. Had the 0% interest to start and now my interest rate has gone down 10%.

I started with a 10% APR in 2005, that became 15%, 24.99% two months ago, and will become at least 29.99% going forward. A nice (aka reasonable) APR is fine, but this struggling bank will make every effort to squeeze every interest basis-point out of your balance...what is a low APR if subject to change like that? full disclosure: since 2005 my credit score has gone up, but Citibank's stock has not. They started me with a 5% cash-back on any purchase...I'm not even sure they have that anymore!

Had this card (Visa-branded) since 2005. APR started at 15.99%, eventually it went down to 11.99%. It increased to 19.99% earlier this year. Not sure why, never missed a payment or was late. Never carried a balance on it so I didn't bother to call and complain.

My APR is down to 5.24% and seems to continue due to the APR.

Happy with card, and had nothing but good service.

If you are looking for a good reward program, look someplace else. That isn't what this card is about. It's about low interest with a meager reward program as a bonus.

I applied for this card thinking that I will get 0% APR on balance transfers and purchases for up to 12 months. However when I got the approval, the term changed to 6 months.

Was denied with a great rating. Only flaw was I've only had credit for 2.5 years, but that was all it took.

I've had this card for 6 years. Because I always pay on time, my interest rate had been lowered down to 6.9%. I got a letter a couple of months ago that my interest rate would be increased to 14.9%. I called them to find out why. The rep said that it wasn't my credit history but the poor ecomony. Needless to say, I decline the increase. It stayed at my 6.9%, but my account will automatically close in 11/09. I liked the convenience of this card, but not willing to pay the double interest.

This will be a trend with most credit cards in this economic environment. Credit card default rates are approaching 10%.
