Approved with $500 limit, have another card already with Capital One with a $750 limit. Have 8 accounts total including this new card. Pulled Transunion which is the CK score, had 6 inquiries, CK Score of 670. Utilization is 18%. 10 month credit history. This is a pretty decent card overall, never had a problem with Capital One. No annual fee. I would recommend this card to anyone who isnt going to carry a balance or else it will kill you in interest. 23.9% is ridiculous

Approved with no history whatsoever, not even store cards/secured cards. Stipend amount ~2k/mo.
No annual fee, no international transaction fees, and the high-tier (blanket 1%) rewards is crazy - I think this is the only fixed category (not those 'rotating' 5%s) cash-back program that gives 2% on restaurants and entertainment. Also, you can seriously say 'give me a 0.02 statement credit' and they'll do it; other programs restrict redemptions to say $50 or higher. Pretty much the best of the bunch, unlike Citi who hates F1s with a passion.
That is, if you plan on never paying a red cent in interest and are capable of actually doing it. Otherwise, stay very far away: you buy these perks with a sky-high interest rate.

I have a question. Why some F-1 students get approved with no history while some other don't?

I was approved with $300 limit. Scores at the time 589-eq 645-ex-
645-tu. Already have the rewards MC ($300 w/the steps program)with Capital One but it hasn't show on my credit report yet.

Got instant approval for $500 with 695 CK score. But, the "thank you" page said credit limit might be adjusted after a real person looks at it before they send out the card. Still waiting to get it in the mail.

Does Capital One report the credit limit properly now? I heard they didn't so using their card would hurt our credit score.

Found that Credit Karma mistakenly shows yearly saving from this card as $0, but I think it is one of the best card of its level that could save you most with its cash back rewards.
