I never leave home without my Platnum card. I pay the yearly fee without hesitaion and I charge everything under the sun on it. Customer service has never let me down and have always gone beyond my expectations!

Good card, but outrageous annual fees made me shut this one down. I don't advocate for annual fees on credit cards unless the company is offering something truly exceptional. American Express Gold just didn't really offer anything special to justify the $85.

This is the card I always use... I pay it off each month, so I don't actually know what the interest rate would be if I didn't. But they send you a bill with the full amount due, so why do people have a balance wih this card? They have a yearly fee, but it's really trivial compared to what the credit card companies will end up charging you even if you don't carry much of a balance...

We earn points that we have used for plance tickets to Hawaii and to Georgia (From California) I use it for everything that I have to buy, but a credit card is more convenient than cash... Gas stations, groceries, etc...

I have to agree - they made arbitrary changes to my account that was in excellent standing for many years. Unfortunately, closing my account dinged my credit score. Most card companies and banks are playing dirty and unfairly. Maybe this is one area Congress needs to stimulate into ceasing to rip us all off and making it worse. AX is a big part of the problem.
